Exposure

  • Too dark: raise ISO first.
  • Motion blur: increase shutter speed.
  • Bright sky darkens face: use reflector or subtle fill flash.

Color

  • Skin too cool: raise Kelvin to 6700–6800K.
  • Skin too warm: lower Kelvin to 6200–6300K.

Focus

  • Place the single AF point directly on the nearest eye.
  • For walking, hold AF-ON continuously.
  • For a still pose, focus, release AF-ON, and shoot only while distance stays unchanged.
